Community Health organization seeking a medical director for their location in Manhattan. Job Function: Keep hand in clinical medicine, servicing a panel of adult-only or patients of all ages depending on training Full spectrum primary care - diagnose and treat medical illnesses, refer to specialists Full time Monday to Friday Community health setting diverse patient population, normal primary and patients with more chronic conditions Assist in peer review chart audits and other appropriate quality activities Protected administrative time to assist in recruitment, supervision and evaluation of staff (including oversight of lab and radiology services) Participate in quality improvement committee and activities Attend board of directors meetings as assigned Employed position with competitive compensation plan and benefits (health, dental, vision, disability), retirement plan, expenses for license/dues/CME, generous PTO plan, paid medical malpractice including tail coverage.
